Google gives me all the info I need in HW

loved the app and used daily. almost even as a daily browser. now the update has included a related search bar along the bottom that has made navigation of a page such a nuisance i become frustrated with my phone as that of a child.

I didn’t realize the app also includes the Gboard keyboard, so it’s confusing that Google also offers Gboard as a separate app. You don’t need both. Anyway the other issue is that Gboard is flakey - often inserts extra spaces and messes up auto capitalization, and the newest version also has an odd glitch that causes it to reset itself every 5-6 seconds (so for instance it won’t stay on caps or emojis for long) which makes more than brief typing a real chore. BTW I saw this glitch on both iOS 10.3.3 and iOS 11.0.1.

Good update got faster.

voice type also offline voice type is needed in ALL the languages.

All my stock quotes have disappeared with no way to add back.

With the latest update there have been issues. I use it regularly but now since the update the search is not as quick as well as it wants to give you what they think you are searching for and not what you type in.

I downloaded it because I liked the features where it tells you about your commute and about the weather and the news and also acts as a web browser. But this app doesnt communicate with the Gmail app. Google doesnt recognize its own app is a browser. Uninstalled this dumb app and reinstalled Chrome.

so i know this app isnt that great for searching, its slow, eats up data ofc and ultimately is a pale imitation of a browser, but my heart is so warmed by the fact that every night i get a pop up weather notification that tells me the temperature changes that i felt literally COMPELLED to come give a five star rating. i know, its people like me that make this system a joke, but theyve got four stars already. they do impress me, because im couch surfing and definitely dont wanna spend a night on the street when its snowing or raining, or after a 20° drop, and they do provide a pretty direct, accurate service that most other apps cant.

Man the google search on this lags. I pop it up and it takes about four seconds before it even responds to the search. Now that might not seem like a long time. But it used to be like a zero second wait. Frustrating...

Can we make this less advertisement please. What happen to you guys. Google was known for being the most user friendly and and simplest company compared to the rest of the industry, now it just seems like a broken eco system. This was my favorite app. Please revert

I can never stay on the app long enough, it keeps crashing and kicking me out. The ok google isnt working properly. Please fix.

Since the update I cant scroll swipe tap anything. Like its a picture. Cant use it at all.

Why each new version it is getting more and more sluggish? Also getting very buggy if opening a link from one page into another new tab, to the point sometimes all tabs freeze up. I used to have a better concept and respect from Google, but they are definitely dropping the ball !

The app is very good. The only problem is its a little slow

Dam the update process takes too darn long!

Can’t upgrade Google on my phone. Have tried for 3 days. So sick of this.

I get spam push notifications about new movies and TV, and theres no way to turn them off in the app notification settings.

(*)Update 9/2017: iPhone Memory Hog. Unlike Firefox, no way I have found to clear "Documents & data" storage. Delete and reinstall saved 0.8 GB for one month of usage. Saved 4GB+ on 16G iPad. Since I use it less and less, next time I will wait until I want to use it to reinstall. (**)Bookmarks? Syncing? The Best YouTube experience using request web version (better than horrible YouTube app). Better than Safari. However, no syncing to laptop. No bookmarks I have found yet. Firefox does both very very well; FF is much more intuitive. I keep going back to Firefox.
