Do not update your app. Google app will never update after pressing Refresh nor swiping down...only says that it cant update now and was last updated some number of hours ago

Great app

Over last month or two, same stories in news feed for days. Mix it up. If I swipe away, please don’t publish it to the feed again. Stop posting stories behind paywalls.

Google has helped me with things no one or nothing else can! Even tho it’s other websites everyone has to notice it’s the search engine that makes it possible.. just had a panic attack with my iPhone and apple support was a load of crud I went to google and fixed my problem right away.. after 45 minuets on the phone I could have just went to google.. I have never nor will I ever youse safari, Firefox bing or anything else, only google! So thank you google workers for making this app so amazing and have it helping life problems one search at a time!

The "people also view" function is so annoying! It pops up at the bottom of the page and cuts off the bottom text of whatever youre looking at. I was in a chat room and my text box was at the bottom of the page and the "people also view" tab was in the way and wouldnt let me type! I had to reopen the page in safari so I could actually access the bottom of the webpage. Please at least make this function optional! I cant get rid of it!

I check the daily tech news and it is so fast i dont use it for search but great app and cards

I accidentally tap it on so many occasions and end up going to one of those related sites. It was great when the tab didnt move.

Stories are terrible. I have customized my feed so I dont see stories from the Kardashians and yet google still puts them in my feed. Whats the point of customizing stories if it doesnt work?! Going to try Bing search instead.

I upgraded IOS to 11 and since then maps are not working. They are showing some weird location and not moving along with me. It just gets stuck to where I have started from. Very frustrating. I am totally dependent on them on daily basis. Very frustrating.

It worked very well and was very simple to use. Now the tab that pops up at the bottom every time you scroll down is very annoying. It is extremely difficult to look at the page with the tab getting in the way. Wish it would go back to the old layout.

Yes, my phones have all had issues now and then but I doubt the app is broken. I wish Siri would open results from Google on Chrome but she cant handle it. When theres an update and I see a reset to a Bing search of all things on Safari I dont waste a second getting that mortification off my phone.

Recently visited websites page can only remember 1 website at a time and the refresh button is gone.

Horrible do not buy I searched something and it said error please check your internet and I had fine internet

There is no quality

I’ve had the google app for probably 4-5 years. This most recent update is horrible! The bar that pops up every time I get to a new page is so infuriating. I don’t want to see what other people view. All I care about is what I’m looking for. I just want to be able to click the back button without it pulling that bottom bar up. I have half a mind to delete it altogether and just go back to using safari. This needs to be fixed or I won’t be using it anymore.

The app is great, it helpful, fast, and easy to use. But google should keep our privacy in mind, whenever I search for something on YouTube, I get recommended for you videos, some are fine, but some of them have nothing to do with what your searching. Keep in mind that other people do use our phones to search something. If they would see those videos, that would be embarrassing.

I use the google app more than I use safari. It is very easy to search & I love that even if you make another search, it leaves your page open in the background !

This app allow you to read trending stories on its app. Half are blank or do not load correctly. Please fix this problem.

I have a site where it’s required to pay for items and customers complain that paypal buttons don’t work when using this app, however it works on all other browsers and apps including, chrome, and safari.
