Love this app but what I dont like about it is the swipe up to close tabs. I like the side swipe like chrome. It feels more natural. Also theres no way to close *all* tabs. Plus you cant swipe to hide stories anymore Gone a little bit down hill

After the recent update, i’m not able to swipe out the story. Everytime i swipe left or right, it open the story page. Please fix it.

So the swipe is gone now, always a good thing, deleted the app immediately!

This app went from 5 stars to 1 yesterday, both on phone and iPad. I don’t think the app updated yesterday but I can no longer swipe right to remove cards. Makes it useless for me as a newsreader.

The weather interface is a joke. The news slides do not slide away and longer, making eliminating articles you couldn’t care less about painful to remove. The feed consistently feeds me 1-2 day old articles. The app worked well but has gotten progressively worse.

Recent update got rid of the ability to easily gud rid of news cards by swiping it away. Now you have to tap the settings icon then tap hid story. Whats the point of this change?

Many of the links to stories do not load properly when you click on them ... only the first few lines load. This has been a problem for the past few months and has driven me back to safari.

Can’t swipe right to discard the cards this is annoying. Please fix.

The google app is typically my go-to source for my news as its all compiled in the nice and orderly cards. However they removed the feature to swipe away the cards as you’re done reading, and that was one of the nice & unique things this app had. Now it’s just like every other news app!

I use google all the time, for the most random searches. I enjoy the cards and article suggestions (usually). I loved the ability to swipe to clear after reading or to dismiss. That swiping feature seems to be gone, and I find it irritating I now have to open a menu on a card and choose to hide an article. First world problems, I know, but why would google remove a feature of such convenience? Five stars if it returns (please, google!)

This latest update is eating my battery life. Google, fix this please. Thanks

My Google topics stop having the ability to be swiped off my page. I have to select “hide story” to remove it from my list. It’s annoying that it works some times and all of a sudden doesn’t.

It’s been really glitchy and slow lately. It didn’t start after a particular update or anything like that. Just for the past two months or so it’s been glitching, not letting me scroll, freezing, and crashing

A bug is back: I can’t swipe away a story tile. Not sure when this broke. It makes using the app very tedious. I can’t help but rate 1 star until fixed. Also, it really needs a “clear all tiles”. Swiping away stories(when it worked) was slooow Besides that, it’s an app I use daily. I love the customized “feed” and the fact that it just starts following topics I’ve searched for.

I’m getting older and adapt to all the new apps slower than I use to. This one is easy to follow

For whatever reason the new update took away the easy swipe to get rid of stories you werent interested in or wanted to hide and that really bugs me as someone who had really gotten used to that and dont like having to go into a separate menu to make a story I dont want to see go away. Ive ended up accidentally clicking on them more often than not which is frustrating. In general I really wish there were a way to blacklist terms that I dont want to see pop up in my news feed because some posts can be upsetting. The interface is also a bit clunky for my tastes and it can be very very slow to load.

Great
