One of my Favs... BUT!

I’ve used Google since I’ve owned a phone and currently that’s an iPhone. I love the news feed and that I can make it my own. What I don’t like now is why can’t I swipe off the cards I’ve read? This was so convenient. Please bring back this feature!
Also, where are my Google weather, sports, entertainment eat and drink shortcuts? I like being able to click the weather and see the frog or look restaurants etc with just a touch of the button! Someone please check this stuff out!
