Google Voice = 25% battery use drain

Google’s new Google voice waiting creepily in the background is ALWAYS ON waiting to insure it never misses a ‘Hwy Google” speech line from you. For this feature which I never intended to use it eats up 25% of my battery life daily. I’m a heavy phone user on my 7 plus treating it as my tablet and camera too. 25% !!!!!

So unless you disable your microphone access to the app who needs Apple managing old batteries slowing down your phone when Google is steeling so much of your juice. This also means you can’t use voice option when you want them, like to do voice recognition for one of two google searches a day.

Google: Please add setting to disable only the google voice. Not anything I need, butt I do need battery life.
