Annoying Headlines

Google is not a news website, google is a search engine. These new “in your face” headlines are really aggravating. Some people prefer to stay out of the daily back and forth of politics and just use google the way it was originally intended, as a simple search engine.

Please at least give us the option to hide these headlines. Perhaps they are useful to some, but for others they are bothersome.
