Please fix! Glitches/crashes

Lately, my google app has been glitching a lot (not sure if thats the right word).. I have an iPhone 5s and nearly every other day Ill have an issue where the app just randomly stops working, like the whole page is frozen and I cant go back to the homepage or anything. Its happened in many different places and the other buttons/things on my phone work fine once I close the app, so I know its not just a certain site or my phone.
Its pretty annoying because once I reopen google, all the pages I was just on arent in the history tab section anymore, so I have to go back and find the sites again.
Please fix!
