Stop updating it so much

It works good and all it’s just like every few weeks they change the layout of stuff and it’s getting really annoying at this point.

Google rate

The best apps and the web browser

Recent changes

Removed the ability to discard a photo by swiping down. Photo viewer now resembles safaris. (More difficult for left handed people now) Changed past websites screen to a less aesthetic design. In addition, update notes do not include the major UI changes.

Awesome App

Lighting fast and comprehensive. It doesn’t get any better.

Amazing ???????????????✨

Its so good and amazing. It helps secure my phone so no one can hack it!!??

Google Images

The app is good overall but there are some flaws mostly being the new google images update. I dislike the new related images tab when you click on an image and how you have to click the it twice to just see said image. You also can’t tap the side of the screen anymore to swipe through images it just brings the relays images tab back, you know have to fully swipe the screen to got enough different images. This may be petty but it gets annoying

Unhappy thumbs!

Removing the ability to swipe away stories in the feed was a horrible decision. My thumbs want to swipe, not have to tap the ⋮ menu and then ⊗ Hide this story. Why, Google? Why?

Not digging the new update

Really not enjoying the last few updates. The suggestion tab or whatever it is that pops up from the toolbar is always in the way and it’s too much work to swipe down to get it out of the way. I like a clean, open look on my screen so I want to hide it altogether not have stuff popping up. And what’s up with the images tab? I was on there today and it looked like how google images looks on safari. Do not like. It’s way too much work and super inconvenient now! If I wanted it this way then I’d use google from safari. Please change back all the updates, I do not like them.

What the hell

Google app shouldn’t have to make you double tap the photos to make them full screen, this new update is making it like using google on safari or chrome. Worst update since google changed their logo.

User cannot turn off related image feature

The simple, clean interface of Google image search has been replaced by a clunky, cumbersome thing. You cannot turn off the new “related image” feature. Thus, if you tap an image to zoom, you can no longer swipe up to return to original results. You have to arrow left (back). Horribly counterintuitive. Fix immediately.

goodbye safari

this has replaced my automatic safari app as my main browser. keep up the good work!

Great app

Google has always been my favourite app. The people who are managing the app have always been proactive to make this app better, faster, and user friendly. Thank you for all of your efforts. I hope you continue your great tasks to improve it even more in the future.

Google

It’s very helpful and I depend on it often ?.

Essential

Great app. Intuitive & engaging. Keeps improving. Must have on iPhone.

Helpful

I like the google app, you can find answers on all sorts of things. Plants, how to cook, fix things around the house. It’s very helpful ?

Very helpful app

App is very helpful for search & query and simple to use. But there is one issue I have which can be resolved, that is when I go to the settings and click Gboard, the app goes frozen, which doesnt work, that causes me to restart the app again for the app to work. I hope Google can take note of this and resolve this.

Constant pop-ups make browser unusable

I like the search functionality here, but the browser embedded in the app is useless. A significant number of my searches lead to pages with a pop up ad that completely hijacks the experience, with no way to close the pop up and only a button forcing you to click into a new site. It’s unbelievably sketchy. Google needs to straighten this out. The only reason I’m still using the app is to verify logins from other devices (a feature that also doesn’t really work).
