Google is a fantastic search engine and the app makes it all the more better. It is the most used app on my phone. Google is user friendly, easy to navigate, and is great for getting quick results. The information I want is easily accessible. For me, it is much more effortless to use than the Safari and/or Chrome apps. Also, I really like the Google keyboard (Gboard) option. The predictive aspect of the keyboard is way more functional than the actual iPhones keyboard. Moreover, Gboard lets you search/find images, gifs, and other things without having to open multiple apps. All in all, the Google app (and Gboard) is one of my favorites.

It’s the best and only search engine I use!

Easy to use. Just some bugs like exiting me out of the app.

Even after I repeatedly indicate that I’m not interested in a particular topic, I see it over and over again.

The google app is very practical and extremely useful. I can leave tabs open and come back to them later. However, I do not like how google has removed the ability to zoom in and view photos carefully directly in the image search results. I don’t know why this useful feature was removed.

Always crashes. Says to check internet connection. I have to find a WiFi spot to use it. It’s now useless to me

Why did the recent update change the way recent pages are closed? So, if there are 100 open pages.. I will need to swipe 100 times to close all the pages ?

I’m hating this new iteration of Google Search. It’s messing and adds extra steps. Please revert back to the last version.

its hard to find the method

As a search engine it is great. As a browser it is horrible. Pages either take forever to load or halfway through loading it errors out telling me the page cannot be found. This even happens with the pages it suggests are of interest to me.

Works well.

With the bar at the bottom, I can’t see certain things on a page!

One of the best Google apps out there hands down. Especially for iOS! Well-done Having saied that, Google needs to figure out how to integrate the assistant into this app, rather than requiring users to download a separate app for that-- too many "Google apps" are confusing and make things just seem not user friendly and cohesive.

Love the app. Would have rated it 5* if it weren’t for issues with the Google Cards. While this is an amazing feature, my articles don’t fully load. When I tap an article, usually just the 1st paragraph opens, then the remaining portion is completely blank; pics, vids and everything. The only fix is to clear the app from the background, then it happens again within 10-15 mins. This is on an iPhone 6.

Didn’t like the update

please go back to the way photos used to work. i think they’re more complicated and hard to look at now.
