Let’s say I search “Baseball”. And then I look ate images of baseball stuff. And then i type something else in the search bar and it searches it but the words in the bar don’t change. It’s glitching....

at least in settings, give us the option to use the old layout. this one may work well for computers and such but there are some good features that disappear with this layout.

So many pop ups lately that you can’t close without closing the page you’re on.

Before I updated my google app, I could swipe stories from the main/ opening page of the app. Now, I can only swipe stories from the ‘more stories’ section of the app. Can you guys fix this to where I can swipe the stories on the main page again? I prefer not to just ‘hide the story’.

Google is the best. And btw random but be proud of your parents because they survived without Google!

I have used both Apple devices and android devices. I like both operating systems. I love the Google integration on Android. I downloaded the Google app on my iPhone because I like it so much better than the web version. It’s primarily now my default browser. I use it more than safari!

removing the dates from previous search tabs is a bit of a pain.

This app is generally a good cultivator if what I like to read. That being said, taking away swipe to dismiss/hide is one totally irritating iteration I wish they’d undo. I’d abandoned Apple’s News app but the swipe to dismiss feature has me looking elsewhere. Recently the app has been freezing on my iPhone 7 Plus so hopefully that gets addressed soon as well. Overall the app works well but there’s definitely room for growth.

Well, it’s OK but it’s still terrible (ITS BEEN LIKE 50 UPDATES AND U STILL CANT MAKE IT SO THAT U CAN SKIP 10 SECOND AHEAD OF A VIDEO) 4 stars for being better than bing like bing just SUX either wise, needs far improvement

Can’t say anything else but GREAT! Use it daily and the app works flawless.

Ideally this app would also launch with the keyboard ready in a search field. In the meantime there is the 3D Touch menu-but the "trending" nonsense really gets in the way. It is irritating that links don’t always open in apps correctly. In Safari for instance I have Wikipedia links open in the Wikipedia app; this doesn’t work here.

It’s often hard to find relevant information to what I’m looking for. Instead, there are most often, articles that seem to be bent on selling me something, having nothing to do with what I’m looking for.

What is going on Google? Youve known about this problem for weeks. Just fix it so we can go back to using the app the way we enjoyed it.

What did u expect? It’s google on a phone. That’s it.

No matter how many times I try to use this app it just keeps crashing on me and I am getting seriously upset to the point of breaking my phone into two pieces and I am tiered of it so no stars

This is my favorite app by far! I miss the old version where you could swipe down in the image section to go back to all the search results. I feel like you should add that back to make the app that more efficient.

When I use incognito mode it still saves what ever I looked up in incognito mode to my regular search history

Not only has this disappeared from my home screen in my Google apps collection, when I got to the App Store to “Open” it won’t. I used to tap on the “G” on my phone and get a whole news stream and all of that’s gone. What happened?
