I have always skimmed over this app just thinking it’s more a standalone Google search app, but after trying it, it’s now replaced my mobile browser and some of my News app. I’m amazed at how simple and incredible useful this is. Great job, Google.

It’s good, most times!

My Google account was hacked and compromised with all of my in forum, past and present and none of the account recovery suggestions have worked!!!! I need to get back into my account. These sobs have even changed my passwords, Google need some human contact info to help people like me, IU f anyone knows anything else to try please let me know? I feel exposed and raped without penitration, GOOGLE HELP!!!!!

I love safari, but since I upgraded to the iPhone 8 Plus I constantly get those pop up ads telling me I’ve won something from amazon. It’s become virtually unusable. I downloaded Chrome and it wasn’t much better. Finally I downloaded the regular Google app, and it’s perfect. I use it as my main browser, it has a great feed on the home page, it’s a great user experience and interface. And I’ve only gotten that pop up thing once. I still wish I could use Safari instead, especially for bookmarks purposes, but this is nonetheless a great app, typical of Google’s elegant simplicity.

I did not realize how major of a design flaw it was to not have swipe to hide until it was taken away from me. The extra steps needed are so tedious especially considering the three dot option menu is small and the large list of options makes it so unwieldy. This small difference has made me change this app from a 5 to a 1 and I know that seems a harsh drop but it really is quite annoying every time and has made me stop using the app almost completely. This used to be my most used app before this one small change and I’m really questioning why the developers thought it was a good change, no offense. Please consider putting swipe to hide back please.

Did you know if you have the app it WILL spy on you and listing to every word your saying and I have some prove my dad was washing dishes and he heard a song come and he stared singing it then he gets a text from google saying *is that you sing? Yes OR no* he saw it was from Beloit then said no and all his notifications disappeared and I was in Beloit at a party and my dad called me and said how did you know u was singing? I was confused and he told me the hole story then found out that google records you and your voice unless your phone is off but creepy right so yeah get that fixed??

I have two google accounts, and through an error of my own purchased movies on both accounts. After waiting on hold for 45 mins, was told point blank there was nothing they could or would do. No I could not be refunded or have my libraries merged I would have to purchase the movies again...wow google so much for actually caring about your customers

Recent updates to many Google apps cause them to load very slowly on iOS devices. On startup, it will take 20-30 seconds to load and be in busy state once it displays the search text box, and is not responsive to haptic commands. Then it will crash. Restarting it just repeats the slow load & crash. A third restart will result in it loading. Barely usable on iOS.

After upgrading to iPhone 8 plus, I noticed some problem with Google search! Sometimes and very often the search will hang for while sometimes morw than a minute then will show the results and sometimes will give me connection problem and ask to try again! I deleted and reinstall it but the same problem. I contact Google support but so far no reply!!!

I hate this app because it never tells me anything i ask

If there is, Ive yet to discover it and would love to know of it.
